Selected the title from a wonderful book that was/is a must read for all those who live in Montana. The Indians tried to flee from the approaching USArmy and headed through the Bitterroot mountains in the dead of winter to escape. A mountain man was with them and journaled the trip. True story. Great book and this scene might reflect their movement.
